Han var till slut med 65 slag ett slag före tvåan Jan-Gunnar Ericsson. Tredjeplatsen knep Thomas Krafft. Rolf Borén låg på 37 slag och var tre slag efter Jan-Gunnar Ericsson efter första nio hålen. Tack vare en stark avslutning gick dock Borén förbi.
