Han hamnade på 63 slag, ett slag före andraplacerade Herbert Gevert. På tredje plats kom Leif Gustavsson. Göran Carlsson låg på 30 slag och var två slag efter Herbert Gevert efter första nio hålen. Tack vare en stark avslutning gick dock Carlsson förbi.
