Han var till slut med 65 slag fyra slag före tvåan Gunnar Ström. Trea blev Leif Hasselgren. Jan Brunzell låg på 31 slag och var ett slag efter Gunnar Ström efter första nio hålen. Tack vare en stark avslutning gick dock Brunzell förbi.
