Han hamnade på 63 slag, ett slag före tvåan Jan Draheim. På tredje plats kom Göran Carlsson. Jan Draheim hade 51 slag efter 16 spelade hål medan Jan Kindström hade 53 slag. Tack vare en stark avslutning gick dock Kindström om och vann.
