Han hamnade på 70 slag, ett slag före tvåan Wolfgang Lohmann. Trea blev Willy Yngvesson. Robert Almqvist låg på 35 slag och var tre slag efter Wolfgang Lohmann efter första nio hålen. Tack vare en stark avslutning gick dock Almqvist förbi.
