Han hamnade på 64 slag, ett slag före andraplacerade Rune Andersson. Trea kom Dan Andersson. Rune Andersson hade 58 slag efter 17 spelade hål medan Göran Carlsson hade 60 slag. Tack vare en stark avslutning på sista hålet gick dock Carlsson förbi.
