Han var till slut med 63 slag ett slag före tvåan Karl-Erik Johansson. Tredjeplatsen knep Kent Andersson. Lars-Gunnar Ekberg låg på 34 slag och var sex slag efter Karl-Erik Johansson efter första nio hålen. Tack vare en stark avslutning gick dock Ekberg förbi.
