Han avslutade med 58 slag, fyra slag före tvåan Peter Larsson. Trea blev Erik Holmberg. Sven-Olof Sjöberg låg på 31 slag och var två slag efter Peter Larsson efter första nio hålen. Tack vare en stark avslutning gick dock Sjöberg förbi.
