Han hamnade på 70 slag, på lika många slag, men med lägre spelhandicap, än andraplacerade Jan Peterzén. Tredjeplatsen knep Arnold Rönbeck. Arne Sandberg låg på 38 slag och var tre slag efter Jan Peterzén efter första nio hålen. Tack vare en stark avslutning gick dock Sandberg förbi.
