Han hamnade på 72 slag, ett slag före tvåan Bo Dahlberg. Tredjeplatsen tog Bo Westh. Mats Nygren låg på 37 slag och var ett slag efter Bo Dahlberg efter första nio hålen. Tack vare en stark avslutning gick dock Nygren om och vann.
