Han hamnade på 73 slag, på lika många slag, men med lägre spelhandicap, än tvåan Per Magnusson. På tredje plats kom Bertil Sundqvist. Per Magnusson hade 64 slag efter 16 spelade hål medan Kenneth Nilsson hade 65 slag. Tack vare en stark avslutning gick dock Nilsson om och vann.
