Han hamnade på 49 poäng, tre poäng före tvåan Ingemar Carlsson. Trea kom Jürgen Saville. Ingemar Carlsson hade 42 slag efter 16 spelade hål medan Mats Persson hade 45 slag. Tack vare en stark avslutning gick dock Persson förbi.
