Han slutade med 35 poäng, ett poäng före andraplacerade Leif Larsson. Trea kom Tommy Lindblom. Leif Larsson hade 30 slag efter 16 spelade hål medan Jan-Erik Essenholm hade 33 slag. Tack vare en stark avslutning gick dock Essenholm om och vann.
